Om is the essential symbol in Yoga. It means unity with the supreme, the combination of the physical with the spiritual.
The divine meaning of the endless knot is that it represents the connection between one's spiritual path, the movement of time and the omnipresent being of Buddha, or divine eternal consciousness. One can find several other spiritual meanings of the knot, as a symbol representing interconnectedness lends itself to many interpretations. Some believe that the knot is representative of the endless cycle of Samsara, or continuous succession of birth, death and rebirth. Others believe that it means the desirable union between correct wisdom and correct practice, or wisdom and compassion.
